Bright and Early

Well, I’m here. Everything seems under control. Why did I doubt the administration would have a good plan? Maybe because they didn’t share it. They didn’t want people hatching plans around it. I was actually glad NOT to know yesterday. My boss was a proponent of sharing the whole thing, but since she was told not to, she found herself having to lie to old people all day. A fact which she did NOT appreciate. I was spared that at least. Unfortunately, I was also spared some of my sanity. Eh. Out to the trenches!

  1. What?

Whatever it is it doesn’t sound good…

  2. I saw it covered on the news this morning, and thought what the Ferguson-Florissant School District was doing was great. You drive up, get a number with a time on it that your supposed to get your shot, and come back 30 min before that time. Much better than a bunch of elderly people standing outside waiting in line.

  3. Yeah- it’s been awesome. People are SO SO SO thankful. Everyone has said that this was handled better than anywhere else! Thank you for letting me know you heard it on the news. That’s thrilling, positive PR for the District (which is my job!).

Now if my feet weren’t KILLING ME! Still, I have been able to help a lot of people. Even acting as a crutch, getting coffee, finding relatives, running info around. Minus the feet and general fatigue, I am having a great time really helping people.
