Honorable Mention

Under my favorites today, I offered an honorable mention to Charles, a guy I work with. This morning he called my extension just to tell me that although I always look good, today I was “lookin’ as good as a motherfucker”. I think this is a good thing. Maybe a very good thing. It was certainly said with such inflection, I’m just not sure how good motherfuckers are supposed to look. I actually put NO effort into looking good for this job since I am getting all smokey anyway. I put my hair back and throw on older clothes. But the shirt I have on today makes me look skinny, so… LOL. Made me feel good though, of course. And again, this is the guy who randomly came up to my desk last week to ask if I liked “black dudes”. LOL. No explanation of course, especially since he is married with a young kid. Still… hilarious though.
