Never in My Life

Never in my life did I think I would see a gallon of gas priced below $2 again.

Tonight, I filled up at $1.99 in Lincoln, Illinois tonight, halfway between my hometown and here.

My eyes strained in disbelief when I caught sight of that numeral – one. Wow.

If it’s the same one I’m thinking of…I saw gas there at $2.04/gallon Friday evening (I was heading back from Chicago, where I had to go to in order to pick up some things for the job I’ve got right now).

SOMETHING interesting is going on here…hmmm

Yes, it was $2.04 there on Friday night. But $1.99 on Sunday night when I was driving back to St. Louis.

And YAY for gas being $1.99 here now!!! WWOWOWOWOWOWOWO~
