Does anyone else think it’s odd that Britain’s Queen would come to celebrate the 400th anniversary of a rebel colony?

Nah. I think it’s pretty cool, actually. And a testament to the much-improved relations between the former colony and the Queen’s domain. Besides, Jamestown is more famous for, well, having been a British colony, and celebrating its four-hundredth anniversary really IS all about celebrating Britain’s place in the global world and its growth of empire…

Ah yes. I should have done my homework better. I think it’s especially cool she’s going to the Kentucky Derby.
