Tower Grove Farmer’s Market

This was posted on the stlbloggers.com website. I didn’t even know there was a Tower Grove Farmer’s Market. Music, dogs, yoga, and fresh food???? I can’t wait to check it out!

From their website:  tgmarket.org

“This May we will kick off our third season of the farmers’ market! Our second season was a success on many levels. In 2007 an average of 1,800 people passed through the market each week. Our vendor count almost doubled, the Harvest Sessions music series drew large crowds, over 20 students attended the free yoga class each week, rescued dogs found good homes at our Dog Day event, and hundreds of people learned about sustainability issues at our Green Living series.”

What – The Tower Grove Farmers’ Market is a 501(c)(3) corporation with a wide variety of local produce, meats and other local food products.

When – 2008 Season: Every Saturday from May 10 through October 25, 8:30am until 12:30pm.

  1. I’m going around to all the St. Louis area bloggers/freelancers to let them know about our new book by two local authors, the Historic Photos of St. Louis by Jean Gosebrink and Adele Heagney. We’d love to send you a complimentary copy for possible review consideration on your blog of this book. This title is done in a large 10×10 format and all images used are culled from several archives that represent rare or never before seen photos of St. Louis. We’re trying to get the word out to local folks, so I hope you don’t mind me dropping you a line to let you know about our books!

You can find the authors locally at a signing at Barnes & Noble on Ladue Rd from 1-3pm .

Hope to hear from you soon.

    Best,
